Hey everyone out there....caling the blogging masses. Does anyone know of any followups to the pc game Maelstrom??? This was a game that I loved to play back in the day. I reloaded it the other day and was thinking it would be pretty sweet if someone did a modern interpretation of this.
Thanks in Advance,

With being the overlord of harmony? That was a great game
I havn't heard anything about a remake (modern version, sequel, what have you), but from what I can tell the company that made it no longer exists. Although I never finished the game, baron zahronev or whatever his name was kept killing me. He would attack and I would massivly outgun/number him, yet my fleets always lost, usually through retreating. But was still a fun game up to that point at least

Sorry, wrong game, Meowy. I think the linux 'maelstorm' is an arcade game, they are talking about a relatively old strategy game,

, contemporary and somewhat comparable with the original Master of Orion, but with a story line. Never played it, so I can not be sure.
